Rainbow Farm Agricultural Corporation was established in 2017 and is operated as a social company by young female farmers, collaborating with local farmers and researching and developing various rice foods using local agricultural products. With the "Alljak(All + Jak: Make it right)" brand, we have the goal of producing healthy food in a safe and clean environment. We properly make healthy and delicious rice food with domestic rice grown in Naju, Jeollanam-do, Korea under the warm sunlight, cool breeze, and moderate rain.
I am Ryu Jung-hee (28), CEO of Rainbow Farm Co., Ltd. at the Jeonnam Bio Industry Promotion Agency in the Naju Dongsu Agricultural and Industrial Complex. Under the brand Oljak (making it right), we manufacture and sell Naju pear rice bread, rice noodles, raw rice noodles, and brown rice snacks using rice and pears produced in Naju. Naju pear rice bread is sold in the shape of a pear like Cheonan walnut cake, and consumers are responding well. The reason why I started this project was to visit an agricultural fair held by the Jeollanam-do Agricultural Technology Institute in 2017 and jump into it as a business. Since then, I have prepared for the business for four years, purchased various equipment, completed preliminary work for a perfect start, and began full-scale sales last year. Rice, which is used as an ingredient, is manufactured from rice produced in Naju and is expected to consume about 50 tons of rice this year. Ingredients such as eggs and milk are also domestically produced and are also paying attention to consumer trust. It's been a year since I started my business, but I'm encouraged because I'm continuing relatively smoothly, with sales rising by 700 million won. Naju Pear Rice Bread is priced at around 10,000 won (20 pieces) and is being marketed so that consumers can purchase it without worrying about the price range. The spread of COVID-19 has led to order-oriented sales such as online and wholesale, but we are making every effort to prepare with plans to advance to department stores, marts, and highway rest areas in the future. In order to keep up with the ever-evolving trends of consumers, we plan to expand our business in the production of products using local production such as Brown Rice Noodles. Brown Rice Noodles is 100% brown rice noodles made from pure rice without starch. It is made using only domestic rice grown in Korean land, especially Naju. It is also made with gluten-free flour so you can enjoy it without worries. Also, no preservatives, modified starch, or other chemical additives are added. We made it with the desire to provide healthy and delicious products to consumers who like noodles by containing the benefits and ingredients of brown rice as it is.
